Why I built it

Hosted CI was slow and expensive for small teams. I started Quanta on weekends to give them a fast runner they could host on any machine.

How it works

A single Rust binary that runs pipelines in isolated containers, with content-addressed caching so unchanged steps are skipped entirely.

Where it is now

Quanta has 3.1k stars on GitHub, 60 contributors, and runs builds for more than 200 teams, often twice as fast as their previous setup.
