Orbit Analytics

A real-time product analytics dashboard built on ClickHouse, Go and React, ingesting 2M events a day.

The challenge

Orbit’s analytics ran as nightly batch jobs, so product teams were always looking at yesterday. They needed real-time insight without a huge infrastructure bill.

What I built

I designed an event pipeline in Go with Kafka and ClickHouse, and a React dashboard with streaming charts. Queries that took minutes now return in milliseconds.

The result

Dashboards now load in under 300ms, Orbit cut its infrastructure bill by 45%, and product teams make decisions on live data instead of week-old reports.
